Water-Gate: The Ideal Solution for Your Water Retention Needs
The removable Water-Gate water barrier is designed to create water reserves in record time, offering an optimal solution for firefighting as well as irrigation of agricultural crops. Adapted to all types of natural watercourses, the Water-Gate utilizes the terrain, including different levels and elevations, to ensure effective water retention in case of fire.
Why create a water reserve for fire extinguishing ?
Fire water reserves are crucial for combating fires, especially in rural areas far from hydrants. Having an accessible water source can make the difference between quickly controlling a fire or letting it spread uncontrollably. The Water-Gate allows large quantities of water to be stored directly from streams and rivers, ensuring a reliable and immediate source for firefighters and farmers.
Advantages of Water-Gate
Easy and Quick Installation
The implementation of the Water-Gate water barrier requires no special qualifications. Thanks to its ingenious design, it can be installed quickly by anyone.
Adaptability
The Water-Gate adapts to all types of natural watercourses, utilizing the terrain to maximize water retention and conservation.
Stability
Due to its triangular configuration, the barrier cannot roll over itself when filled with water, ensuring maximum stability.
Safety and Cleanliness
The water drawn from the barrier is free of gravel and dirt, preserving pump turbines and other components, thus facilitating flood management for fires.
Operation of Water-Gate for Water Retention
The Water-Gate water barrier does not need to be manually filled with water. It is the water from the stream or river that enters the barrier and opens it automatically. To install:
- Orientation: Observe the pictograms to determine the orientation of your installation.
- Unrolling: Unroll the barrier directly into the water or beside it and then slide it into the water.
- Fixing: Grasp the top of the canvas and unfold it to quickly push it into the water, then immediately place some rocks on the front of the canvas.
Removing the Barrier
To remove the barrier, simply remove the rocks from the front of the flap and lift one corner of it to allow water to flow underneath. The barrier then moves to allow water to pass. You can then remove, unfold, fold, and roll it easily.
Pump Usage and Compatibility
Regardless of your pump’s size or capacity, the Water-Gate is designed to prevent the pump nozzle from drawing in the fabric. The water drawn in is clean, thereby reducing wear on the turbines and other components of your pump. In case of low water levels, the nozzle can be placed inside the barrier to eliminate the vortex above the pump nozzle.
The Water-Gate is an essential tool for water retention and fire extinguishing, offering a reliable solution for creating fire water reserves. Additionally, its ability to manage floods makes it an ideal choice for farmers and emergency services. With the removable Water-Gate barrier, you are prepared to tackle fires and ensure efficient irrigation of your crops. Its ease of use and performance make it an indispensable tool for water management in rural areas.
